Ayer estuve experimentando una técnica para darle la tonalidad pastel a las fotos y dejarles un efecto "Vintage", he seguido el trabajo de artistas como
Hanna y
Les Brumes que para mi, son las mejores en esta tendencia.

Bueno empecemos:
Para este tutorial utilizaré una foto que hice con un lente LENSBABY,
Ok, let's do it
For this tutorial I am going to use a picture that I took with a LENSBABY
1. Lo primero que debemos hacer es desaturar la imagen, pueden usar cualquier método para convertir la imagen a Blanco y Negro.Incluso solo DESATURAR desde el menú: IMAGEN -> AJUSTES -> DESATURAR
1.The first that we have to do is desature the image, you can use any technique to convert the image to B&W
Even just DESATURATE from menu: IMAGE -> ADJUSMENTS -> DESATURATE
2.Ahora creamos una nueva MASCARA DE RELLENO: MASCARAS -> NUEVA MASCARA DE RELLENO -> COLOR SOLIDO y escogemos color azul.
Yo, para la que hice usé este tono #2e4a99, pero esto varia segun lo que quieran, pueden escoger tonos rosas, amarillos, verdes, etc..
2. Now, we create a NEW FILL LAYER: LAYERS -> NEW FILL LAYERS -> SOLID COLOR and pick up a blue color, in my picture I used this blue tone #2e4a99, but this can be change if you want other colors, like pink, yellow, green, etc.
3.Ahora cambiamos la fusion de la capa a LUZ SUAVE y bajamos la opacidad al 50% y quedaria algo como esto:
3. Now we change the blending mode to SOFT LIGH and low the opacity to 50% :
4.Ahora, aplicamos una textura, y aqui es a gusto de ustedes la fusión, la opacidad y la textura que quieran usar, yo utilicé una de
Leschick
Entonces, abrimos la textura y la arrastramos sobre nuestra imágen pastel
4.Now, apply a texture and here you can play with the opacity, blend and choose any other texture, i used a
Leschick texture
Then, we open the texture and drag it over our pastel image.
5. Muchas veces las texturas no tienen el tamaño de nuestra foto, es donde usamos la herramienta TRANSFORMAR, que se encuentra en el menú EDICION o desde el teclado COMANDO+T para Mac (en Window Ctrl+T) y manteniendo la tecla SHIFT presionada vamos adaptando la textura al tamaño de la foto o la rotamos si es necesario, una vez echo esto, presionamos enter.
5.Many times, the textures is haven´t the size of our pictures, so, we have to use the TRANSFORMER TOOL, from EDITION MENU or from the keybord, press, COMMAND + T for Mac (Windows Ctrl+T ) and keeping SHIFT press, we adapt the texture to our picture size or rotate if necessary, once already with the correct size, we press enter.
6.Cambiamos solo la OPACIDAD hasta que quede a nuestro gusto. Yo la reduje a un 27% de opacidad.
6. We change only the OPACITY to our taste. I reduced it to 27% of opacity.
Y eso es todo!

Para esta imagen yo utilce dos texturas, pero cada quien partiendo de este tutorial puede jugar con esto.
Abri otra textura que fusioné con luz suave y una opacidad del 59%. Corté en formato cuadrado porque es el formato que mas me gusta para trabajar
Y este es el resultado:
For my image i used two textures, but is your choice play with this, so I opened other texture, in SOFT LIGHT BLENDING MODE with 59% of OPACITY, I cropped to square format because is may favorite format to work.
And this is the result with crop:

...y recuerden que pueden variar los tonos a su gusto,
...and remembre that you can change the tones to your taste.
Por cierto, a las personas que hacen las texturas, les gusta ver su credito en nuestros trabajos, por favor, no olviden colocar el nombre del atista que la hizo debajo de sus fotos.
BTW: many artist love that you give the credit if you use his textures, so don't forget write her name below your picture.
